I don't want to be a Pope, priest, monk, friar, nun, bishop, cardinal. I want to be a deranged exile. Why should I want a position that demands celibacy? I want to lie under palm trees, eat the alchemist's puddings, and occasionally make a speech about restoring freedom to my beloved motherland. Not that I care much for making speeches, but I do want to be abundantly supported by the naive, and the bit about restoring freedom has a remarkably positive impact on impressionable young females.
