Intel should be the buyer for NSM!

This Forbes article is speculating that NSM maybe bought by TI or STM

IF CB is strategically SMART, Intel should buy NSM in order to:

1. Kill NSM's PCOAC efforts,

2. Kill Via/Cyrix deal,

In the end, to make Intel's CPU business being less threatened.

KZ,

<So what's a poor OEM to do? It is all very strange and the strangest part is why didn't Intel come out with this statement a long time ago?>

Here is some interesting stuff that may help give some clues on what might happen later this year.

Thread, the DRDRAM debacle gives Intel an excuse for a very slow ramp up of CuLaterMine in November. If the speed bin yields are poor, they can always say that they are waiting for volume DRDRAM production.
