No - What Dreams May Come sucked (imo) but the title of course, comes from Shakespeare. One cannot even get the allusions of some modern writers (remember the recent A Thousand Acres (Lear)) without understanding Shakespeare. Shakespeare is like bedrock under our language and our literature. You can ignore it if you wish, but then you will never truly understand the geology of our Western literature.
