Hang in there with me for a moment. You'll note that I didn't take a position on this, only asking for some enlightenment. I don't know Gilder to fly off on an unsubstantiated whim very often, indeed if ever. At the same time, I can't seem to discern any substance beneath this play that would account for its obvious or hidden traits that would make the company unique, forward looking, or exemplary.

Anyone have anything from the other direction, i.e., in favor, of the sudden increase aside from the company being mentioned in the report?

Just for the sake of arguement

the same could have been said about MCOM before WCOM saved them.
NOPT could easially have a sugar daddy waiting in the wings, and
the stock would rocket as soon as it came to light. I suppose
you could say that about any company, but NOPT's business is
attractive to the right suitor. Just a thought.
