Universal Soldier: The Return Release Date: August 20th, 1999 Release Note: Many August release schedules in recent years have featured a high-octane superhero action film from New Line Cinema, like Blade in 1998 and Spawn in 1997, but this year they don't have one scheduled, so it appears that Sony is stepping up to fill that action void with this action sequel. --------------------------- the less action-movies that come out in august the better.. Universal Soldier is the catalyst for moving keeping whatever gains we see over the next 30days at the highs.. from what I've heard it should be a good flick and with the week before school and everyone rushing to the movies.. hopefully US2 can make the top 5 films opening weekend in gross revenues.. love to see $10 to 15 million or better the first weekend.. alot depends on the competition out there.. but there are alot more MEGA SCREEN theatres these days.. so i think the movies with alot of special effects and action can get some nice crowds... let's just hope it's good enough to get some decent reviews.. I've heard a few positive reviews are already out.. $6million already made in overseas just this last week or two.. but that's just heresy. take care and trade smart and don't get caught in the hype.. do your DD and make a decision to buy if you like what you see ; good night jim
