Good thread Andy. Lots to talk about. Will America defend Taiwan from a Chinese invasion ? Some saber rattling going on over there. Could get ugly. Are we heading towards war in South East Asia ?

The crowd on Capitol Hill is growing. People are coming out of their houses. The riot police got trapped between the first crowd and the curfew area. They were keeping up a wall of pepper gas. The mayor and chief of police are nowhere to be found by the media. There is a city council member up on the hill. The police have been carrying around 40 pounds of riot gear for two days. The guy on the radio is urging everyone to go home. The earlier attacks by the police were reportedly mostly unprovoked. One caller on the radio said he looked out his front door and a cop hucked a concussion grenade at him. He slammed the door before it went off. FWIW Andy
