It sounds difficult, but Ten seems to be hinting that Intel is doing it. Very interesting.....

Perhaps they will be linked with Rambus channels?

Alpha 21364 uses an on-chip DRAM controller (4 DRDRAM channels). I assume they will support multiprocessing.

This is a one-time performance improvement which in no way "solves" the DRAM latency problem, but it's worth doing.
