CC

We need Freeflight to post something negative about CHKP so we can move higher. Great quarter. Listening to CC now. Lots of revenue not included in backlog.

Some comments that sounded really good but the guy is hard to understand. "Most of the deffered revenue has not been included in the current #'s. # would have been much bigger if it had been included".

"Most of the service contracts are not included in the deffered revenue." Something about a new product that should contribute significantly in first quarter of Y2K.

Has CHKP ever disappointed? .

Pull a chart for the past 3 years and look at the 30% sell off in the prior two years after earnings were released on July 30 and July 15. Both times CHKP had good earnings but gave conservative guidance due to 3rd quarter being a weaker quarter than the 2nd (and 4th is the strongest).

So it hasn't disappointed in that it has always meet or exceeded revenue and earnings forecasts. The stock has disappointed on the sell off of conservative forward guidance.

Just shows what a great year the company is having to be this confident going forward.
