Seems like many, including myself, have questions on RHAT's plan to grow its revenue in an exponential rate as Linux is. How about investing in a hardware vendor such as VA Linux (which planned to go public)? These hardware vendors don't give out products (yet!) free over the net nor do they pay for the software running on their products (or minimal). Do they sound like a better Linux play? VA has been making profits since early days and has a fat margin, and from an interview on Linux Journal, CEO of VA has confident that they will be as large as Sun Micro and the like.
