rossmarn -

Can someone please tell me exactly what the catalyst is for this titanic selloff that is about to occur??

No catalyst IMHO just most people believe that the market is full yvalued has no margin for error and almost no romm for any upside.

Markets rarely go sideways for any extended period so with hair trigger people sell at the first sign of an excuse..

Best regards,

L

rossmrm, reasons: acrophobia and "me first to exit door."
Long termers, need to do no action so long as they don't worry
if msft was at 70 in a month. Other wise you are not a long
termer anyways.

Anyone know why MSFT did not do put selling in Q4. even if
they did it was all strike prices less than 65. The put strikes
are at 59 to 65 or so. They did buy back in high 70s and low 80s.

SO I think there will resistance at high70s to low 80s. In case
of worst case panic we will see additional resistance at 65. But
I can't imagine it will hit 65 until after next split. MSFT is
a great company, that is why I still have 1/2 of my foot while
other half is in cash.
