As a public school product I was called upon to debate the Lutheran science teacher in church. Dummy me, I thought it was on the up and up. I got so bull shitted and fogged over I finally told them the Bible was wrong. That was in '65 and I'm still not welcome in the church. They still ask for money though.

The loophole, Cobalt, is that God could have created the world *looking* like it was billions of years old even though it was brand spanking new. (The human mind is a wonderfully creative instrument, don't you agree?)

I remember reading something about there being geological evidence of a great worldwide flood in the sedimentary layers. Have you ever seen that anywhere?
