re:Taiwan/China. I thought about this when I noted the issue a few days ago but I decided the time to give serious concern to this would be if there was actually evidence of the requisite troop or equipment movements. While it is not confirmed I find the fact that China is now apparently reporting war games which I assume could involve such preparations very disturbing. I am disturbed that positions seem to be firming and becoming publicly announced which is going to make it hard for either party to back off and the US will not have significant influence over the situation after the public and government uproar over the embassy bombing. If this turns ugly the market won't ignore this and it will either be the cause or excuse for a market plunge.
