Greetings to Slurper and High Grader and to all fellow-lurking Sluppies with nothing to say. What can be said after 14 months of this government-sponsored ordeal. FWIW, hawkeye has heard the following from source that has been reliable in the past. (Let us call him/her "Deep Smudge". "Deep Smudge" not know identity of "Deep Sludge" and has given hawkeye personal assurance that he/she is in no way related to "Deep Sludge", "Deep Schmuck", "Deep Do-Do", or "Deep Sh#t". "Deep Smudge" say <<the SEC has concluded its investigation. Now we have to wait for the SEC lawyers to present SLUP with a list of what, if anything, they believe SLUP has done wrong. Then SLUP will respond, i.e., the lawyers will negotiate it out.>> <<SLUP is making money and while it is difficult to predict what business will develop overseas, the company is doing a lot of business here. One problem is that a lot of money is being spent on legal fees.>> <<things are turning in SLUP's favor>>. Also. FWIW, the website for the Region 8 office of the EPA states that a decision on the Midvale Slag Superfund Sight will be made in the fall. (Let us pray.) Also, if you haven't read it, the full report on SLUP's demonstration at that sight is now available on the EPA website (http://www.epa.gov). Enter SOLUCORP in their search engine and you will find it. hawkeye also mystified by today's .25 low. Fact is, there probably is not another pink sheet company OR NASDQ Bulletin Board company for that matter, that IS making money AND has been an SEC reporting company for over a year and a half. This cause hawkeye to reread SLUP's SEC filings, in particular SLUP's 10KSB sec.gov . The documents show that not only is SLUP doing a lot of business domestically, but also that SLUP has a lot of heavy "irons in the fire - ( China, Battery Boy Technology, Glasgow, and Italy for starters) any one of which could catch fire at any time leading to big bucks. Also, the EPA's recently promulgated stricter standards for the level of toxic metals in soils, which MBS can exceed at no additional cost, unlike the "competing" technologies" (predominantly cementing-over the land), must eventually favor SLUP in the marketplace. The fact is that SLUP has been acting as a true thoroughbred by demonstrating its money-making ability while carrying the onerous extra weight of the SEC matter. Also, if you look at the document that SLUP submitted explaining its material contacts, it is hard to see where SLUP violated any law or SEC regulations. THE FACT IS that SLUP never said it had actually entered into any of the contracts that the SEC was looking into. Respecting China, in particular, a host of NYSE companies expected revenues and anticipated projects in Asia fell apart with the Asian Financial Crisis. hawkeye not see any of those companies being investigated by the SEC. Also, as far as hawkeye knows, nobody go to jail for typographical errors in company reports. Not enough jails for that. (If you have ever seen one of SLUP's early financial statements you'd realize that those things were typed on Royal Typewriters and slapped together. Looked something like highschool book reports) Joseph Kemprowski ?? This is America. If Kemprowski did in fact play fast and lose in his youth in Vancouver (who in Vancouver didn't) -- that IN NO WAY IMPLIES IN ANY WAY that he do something wrong today. If MBS could only get the lead out of the SEC's pants and the Sh#t out of Richard Walker's shorts, SLUP could break away from the field in a romp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Night Ms. IEarndIt, wherever you are -- You earndit - I lostdit.
