the HA scan I use appears to get about 2 hits per day out of 2500.
the problem isn't getting hits, it is being able to be in the
upward surge when it happens. I am testing to see if there is
an indicator to do that.

You should put your hits in a portfolio and track them.

I noticed that NKE would not have hit my scan since I am measuring
the initial 5% from close to open on a single day. But NKE with
that gap made yours. hmmm

backtest them suckers, see if loosening is giving more winners or stays same percentage wise with deadbeats...

milesov and I have found that by tightening the screws we may miss some good candidates, trouble is some nasty weeds get in there too...

also have found it is better to wait for the right one than jump in too early with the wrong one, not that I adhere to that...>g<
