We have had a lot of interesting posts on Gemstar, and I am getting more interested. I would like to read the other side of the story. Would those in the know post a link to a story about the company that they disagree with?

On her maiden voyage she carried 30,000 jars of Heilman's Mayonnaise destined for its second port of call, Vera Cruz. At the time, mayonnaise was unknown in Mexico. Much publicity had been given the imminent arrival of this condiment, and it was being wildly anticipated by Mexicans everywhere. You can understand that the sinking was viewed as a national disaster. The occasion has been commemorated ever since as the Sinko de Mayo.

I want to add my thanks to the core members of this thread. It is easily my favorite site. It's built around a core theme that I can subscribe too. More importantly, the quality of discussion is first rate. We don't see the flame mongers here that can and have practically destroyed other threads. Best Regards, Tom
