Paul,

Have you checked out Cramer tonight?

Keeping Up With the High-Speed Net World

an excerpt:
a huge replacement market lurks as the online providers develop more exciting products that can utilize the power and speed of the new high-speed processors. We tend to think that it is just modem speed that matters, but my dad's computer reminded me of how important a role Intel plays in this revolution. You don't want just a super-fast modem. You want the fastest processor possible to get the most out of the Net. It all matters and it's a great opportunity for all of the hardware companies.

Cramer just figured this out? It's what made me move up to a 450PII last fall. Actually, my old 486 is now on my home office network so it survives and still has a useful life left as a word processor and database manager - but not for surfing the net.

Barry

<Maybe you should SHORT Intel again !>

No. It's too far out. The timing of the NGIO fiasco is hard to predict. Besides, it will not affect the stock that much.
