Barry, re processor speed being more important to surfing the net than many think, I saw the same type of thing when canning my 486 at work for a PII-233 a year and a half ago. More surprising was the speed at which I could, e.g., clean up email after being out of the office for a week or so, while task switching back and forth between that and apps like Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, etc. Mail cleanup type thing, while task switching back and forth, seemed to be five to ten times faster, or something like that. That's goes right to productivity improvement.

Barry - Re: "Cramer just figured this out? It's what made me move up to a 450PII last fall. "

I like Cramer.

But next week, Cramer may "unfigure" it out and realize that Intel is a soon-to-be-dead dinosaur.

He changes his mind more often than a lady in a hat shop.

Just the same, I'm glad he's "high" on Intel these days.
