The new PowerBook G3 weighs less and has a lot more.

But does it have a handle? ;)

In all seriousness, don't forget that the iMAC has a handle. 6.7 pounds with a handle is much better then 6.7 pounds without a handle.

Using a Mac is different than Windows. 800x600 on a 12" LCD is all you can handle, unless you are the type that runs 1600x1200 on your 17" monitor. Then again, you are a big Mac user, so you know that.

Just my opinion, but you never know the real reason. Maybe the cheap 12" screens they are getting can't do higher resolution. Maybe it was feature differentiation from the PowerBooks. Why else have a 300Mhz G3?

I'm still not sure the iBook will sell, then again, I wasn't sure about the iMac either. I certainly am not the target audience :)

Definitely going to get Airport for my PowerBook G3 though. Plug it into DSL, and I won't have to have Ethernet cables all over my living room...
