Once again, thanks for further elucidation. Both TELNET, and HTTP servers as you describe them provides remote access "in-band" management, while Wi-LAN's RS232 method probably requires an on-site physical person to do the reconfiguring even though the device doesn't have to be taken off-line.

Although, as you say, reconfiguring is not something that is required at frequent intervals... the complaint seems to be that there is no "in-band" remote secure solution, which could be a hassle if the network is large. And of course we shareholders WANT the network of Wi-LAN's products to be large. So this should be good feedback to Wi-LAN.
