It is in very bad taste to announce a split and will backfire, too
obvious a tactic to boost the stock, this is nothing but sheer greed
and manipulation to get even richer of the internet hype.

I don't believe it is prudent for the board and CEO of a profitless company to take any action to boost its stock price other than those directed at increasing profits.

Eric, pardon my direct....don't apply your own standards here at all! Treat Amzn as a stock, not a company if you are going to short it from time to time.

As for tomorrow, I doubt that we will have a big gap open at all, most likely down or flat, imo. You do have the GS effect in the morning so maybe you can close your short for a nice$$. I was thinking $80 by Sep, but now maybe just $100 due to the split.
