What hard-drive? What OS? My 300A Celeron + Western Digital 3.2 + win98 and 1 monitor boots in 45 sec. Add 15 seconds for the second monitor.

I heard scsi drives boot super-fast.

I'm getting the parts for a dual Celeron 366/550 tomorrow. Hope it works as advertised.

Question for anybody.

Is a Celeron faster or slower than a P3?

If slower, how does it compare to a P2?

Getting a new PC and wondering if the P3 is worth the extra $$ over a Celeron and how much faster than my P2 266?

Thanks,David

Mine boots slow too, after adding the network card it boots even slower. The more stuff you have in your computer the slower the boot will be. Have too load all those drivers.

Once mine is loaded it runs fast too. The 32 MB video card I have speeds things up too. (Not the boot)
