UNBELIEVABLE!! I am deliriously happy.

After 2 months of trying (well, maybe 3 hours altogether) to get that networking going properly, it took 5 minutes to fix.

DSL downloaded SP5 in a jif, and I didn't mess with any protocols or bindings or adapters or adoptees or dimplemats or binder-clips or nuttin.

The thing just worked. I wonder if I should have checked out MS support earlier?

P.S. I really hope to get some feedback on that flat panel, recycled notebook screen idea.

Tsk, tsk, Peter. Sean, I, and I'm sure others have reiterated
here fairly often that if you ever pop in that NT disk
to install something, you must reinstall the latest service
pack. I mentioned it just the other day here in fact.
