"Everything is in gear to renew the uptrend" TC2000 chart
shows todays move up on increased volume. If it breaks
July high, could go to 61??

I have been reading your posts and agree that no one knows for sure
what the future holds.
I can say that the desire of one large supplier is to take the spot
up to around $7 and raise contract on August 1st. Whether they can
pull this off will depend on whether Micron will agree and move with them.
With the consolidation in the market, Micron does control the price with so much capacity they manage. The Koreans also have a large number of parts under their control. My humble opinion, is if the Koreans and Micron agree at the same time, prices will go up otherwise it will not happen.
Will Micron stock price go up if this happens? You would think so,
but when the DRAM price went into a spiral MU did not crash.
So, I guess that means it probably will go up?? Luckily I stayed
away from puts..
Good trading.

>>There are lots of people who predicted demise and bankruptcy of Micron for last 2 years on this thread.<<

NOBODY, i repeat NOBODY on this thread nor anywhere i have read EVER predicted mu to be bankrupt by 1999. hello!?!?

so, do often pay $50+ for a stock that loses money 6 out of 7 qs? you be da genius, imho... ;-)

mu has made good moves (if borrowing billions that needs to be repaid can be considered a good move vs the least of all evils) and they've made bad moves (building lehi at the TOP of the market ;-)

soon, they will have lost money for the 7th q out of 8. their cash will be down nearly $2,000,000,000 since 8 qs ago. thank goodness other folks pony up the dough to keep them losing money.
