I suspect that this new, Europewide development in the Coca-Colagate is merely the sequel of the ongoing trade war between Europe and the US.... Remember: it started last week when Europe banned imports of US beef cattle, thereafter the US retaliated with a 100% tax raise on several luxury imports from Europe (wines, foie gras, etc...).
I think that, so far, these are only media skirmishes between the US and the newly-appointed EU Commission --keep in mind that Romano Prodi has to show the world his commitment to uprightness, especially when it comes to public safety and health hazards....
