RS, count me in on the site watch. You planning to assign or can we pick? Being first on, I would prefer to pick'em and of course I want second choice (right behind you)

On another note, did you ever compile a list of the prizes for the Loral stock price contest?

Rocket Scientist,

Count me in on the thread monitor beat. I hereby volunteer to watch three sites and report back. Choose the three sites that no one is covering yet that you feel would be most relevant and important to the group and I will monitor them.

As far as sensitivity of information, well, it seems to me that anything we find on the web is information that is already in the public domain. I see no reason to not publish it here or provide a link. Anyone else feel differently? What would be the advantage of exchanging this info in non-public ways?

Oh yeah. I'm afraid my poor French wouldn't be of much help and I doubt there are many SP-related websites written in cafe Italian. So English is the language for me.

Nancy

Count me in to help monitor sites. I've been eyeing several and have been a little disappointed with lack of info on some of the service providers; particularly Vodafone UK (I admit their australian site demonstrates commitment). I'm concerned about Vodafone not pushing G* as much as I had hoped.

Tero, M. Allard, Jim P. & Maurice (of course), and others, this thread is beginning to remind me of the early days of the QCOM thread. Lots of heated discussion and strong opinions on feasible technology, likelihood of success, etc. Let's hope that G* turns out to be as successful as our beloved Q!!

Good luck to all on the G* launch Sunday and the initial 32 sat. network. Go Globey!!
