Bob -

Before you invest in RACE make sure you read the SEC filings and messages on this board. Pay particular attention to the lack of substantial revenues for a long time, the hype nature of the longs, the continuous dilution of the stock, and the involvement of Livikaus (sp.). Then decide if you want to throw your money away.

Yes and no. One must remember that virtually everything in networking hardware is proprietary to some extent.

As to BT it does operate according to the accepted standards when used as a data-only RAS, also when used for DSVD functions but in order to utilize it's true capabilities you must be using BT clients (hardware cards or soon to release software version) in your remote desktop or laptop PC.
