Watch List for July 21, 1999
All earnings related.. The only stocks with a chance to buck
the trend. Yesterday I thought MSFT would cause profit taking and it
did. Tomorrow I expect more rally with the good earnings reports. Still
bullish on ELNK and EXDS.. Still bearish on AMZN but we'll see.
Still short QLGC and LGTO but i'll cover quickly if they begin to rally.
They were down sharply today.

Note especially how interestingly the earnings plays that turned out pretty good were already "technical and momentum plays' a few days before their earnings reports. Some of them weeks ago as well.
Again since there are a profusion of fine companies about to report
earnings, I stuck with some volatile, but possibly hi flying fare for
tomorrow. Remember to please check you earnings plays to the end of the
week. Also keep a second watch list on hand as ou saw that SYMC and ANTC
broke nicely 1 day after on our list.
I expect that perhaps YHOO was overdone and it could regain some lost
ground toorrow. LVCI an earnngs play reported a good quarter and split
after the close today.
