You are their #1 target customer: passsive, disinterested, too busy.

Actually, I can't even count the number of long distance companies I've been through in the past five years. I made the mistake once of jumping for one of these "better deals," and I couldn't switch back fast enough. So much for "passive."

I am disinterested in saving 1 penny for every minute I speak on the phone long distance; I'll gladly admit that. I don't pick up pennies when I see them in the street, either. What I AM interested in is making sure I have a quality long distance company serving my needs.

You're damned right I'm too busy to sift through a stack full of bills every month. If a company can come to me and say, "Hey, Mark, let us help with that. Let us put all your communications charges on one bill, and let us allow you to pay that bill automatically online," can you understand that this is a selling point? You happen to be living in a service-driven world, Rascal.

Long T.

Mark
