Mark: Opinions are beautiful things!

I disagree with your assessment of the "viability" of the California business environment. I have several national clients who all forgo involvement with a large potential market in California due to the intrusive and pervasive nature of the regulatory scheme in CA, especially as to environmental issues. The business flight from California has been well documented. JLA

What do you mean your environment is "decidedly cleaner"? Cleaner than it was a few years ago? All major cities have improved their environments to one degree or another but you still have smog, you wouldn't dare drink from your rivers and streams and you are foolish to spend a lot of time in coastal waters adjacent to your cities. To find any environment remotely clean is to leave any town of any size and move to the wilderness. What little of it we have left. I understand that the area of Silicon Valley was once a very peaceful and clean area before you technological dorks moved in and mucked it up. TD
