Thank you for your response. Once again, I apologize for what could be characterized as an over reaction. "Equally obvious, I would think, is the fact that I am not the person who can answer clerical and technical website questions." I can understand that. But imagine you are me, and you have just written multiple e-mails over a period in excess of 1 week, just to obtain the answer to a very simple question, all without response. How would you feel if you were told to "please write another e-mail"? To be honest, I was not happy......I think you can relate to that. I would have felt much better if you had responded, "OK, I'll take care of it. Don't worry about it." "I do not even have a simple way to pass on these questions to the appropriate people at GTG, which runs the forum, or Forbes, which posts the letter and manages subscriptions and passwords." I made the incorrect assumption that it was your organization and that you were in charge of it. "By the way, what is it that you think I don't *get* about the Internet?" I believe that was some one else's comment. I have enjoyed your newsletter very much, and I believe you have a gift for articulating the amazing technological revolution that we are currently experiencing. My main complaint is that of customer service rather than content. While it may be Forbes that is managing the show, please keep in mind that it is all done in your name. When I think of your newsletter, I think of "George Gilder", not Forbes, or whoever it is that runs the web site. If they fail to offer basic services to your subscribers, in my mind and in the mind of many other subscribers, that would be more of a negative for you than for anyone else. Whoever it is that runs the website, I would humbly recommend that you should set up an arrangement where all e-mails are answered in some form within a set amount of time, preferably 24 hours. That is the way services should be in the "Telecosm"..... Have a nice day, THC
