Serious question ---

Is laughing at something funny isolated to just humans, or are any animals capable of developing a sense of humour? I know Chimps tend to 'look' like they're laughing, and my cat seems to 'grin' at times, but I don't think they sense something is funny.

I'm convinced my computer's laughing at me at times. Imagine the fun the CPU's having, passing gossip among the memory chips abut what the idiot human clicked or typed this time.

Just my thoughts, PW.

P.S. Has anyone noticed the not too bright among us not only cannot create humour, they cannot appreciate or understand it either? I've heard it's been claimed that the court fool often had more ability between the ears than the royalty and noblemen being entertained. (If we look at royalty today, this isn't too hard to believe!)
