There have been plenty of astute people on this board all talking a lot of sense, regarding news and what is left of it (not much) to lift the stock even more short-term, regarding the T/A price action since the harsh drop from the failed break-out, etc

Well we are about to enter the new millenium. Personally I happen to think that on January 2nd many people will have to go back to work and go about the daily business of earning a living. The millenium won't mean all that much at 9.30am on the first morning back to work and b the nd of the day it won't mean a thing.

But that is just what I think. There are others, many of them, who happen to believe that the millenium is a really big deal. They won't want to work with software and hardware that come from the old century never mind the old millenium!!! I will be fully supporting them. The millenium is very important and every comany should go out and refresh its software and hardware ( well lets say the MSFT, IUNTC, CSCO, CPPQ, DELL and all the other nifties products).

WEll I do think tha the first couple of years of the new milenium asre going to produce huge sales increases for our nifties. The Y2K issue is oe of the biggest non-events in human history and tech is going to flourish like it has never done yet.

That all will start within a couple of months and in some cases has already started. That it seems to me is one reason for stocks to increase in value.

THe other is that after Mr G has finished venting his spleen against the idea of people making a lot of money in the stock market and the summer holiday season is over the market will recover.

Best regards,

L
