Unless you are the Divine One, ALL humans are prone to making mistakes and errors in judgment, etc. Depending on the circumstances your penalty may vary for such lapses. No question that none of those people deserved what happened. Makes the jokes all the more tasteless IMO. But it is also human nature to make fun of such things. My only real quarrel is with the timing. The jokes were inevitable as friend Ish has rightly pointed out in his usual style. JLA

We do NOT think he should have been killed. NONE of us think there is any justice in this. He did a stupid thing and had the bad luck to get whacked for it.

The jokesters didn't mete out the punishment and that is a totally irrational thing to say > How many of us think that we should have been in a fatal
crash as punishment? <
