Globe says GLE reports success testing new fuel cell system

The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, July 23, edition that Global
Thermoelectric announced yesterday it has successfully tested a solid oxide
fuel cell system running directly on natural gas. The Globe's Market Movers
column reports that the development is a significant step in Global's move
to become a leader in fuel cell technology. Global Thermoelectric says the
advance give it a "significant cost and reliability advantage" over
competitors. Global jumped 65 cents to close at $10.05 yesterday on the
Toronto Stock Exchange.
