Good morning to everyone....Wow there is a ton of info out there on IATV....Just for everyones info ICTV is a subsidiary of Modern Computers systems (OTC:MODS). Mods will be in next weeks newsweek mag. Also next Wed, Thur, and friday Mods will be meeting with the kaufmann fund, and also Soundview Technology group.....( This is the group that put out a buy rec on IATV ). As with any issue everyone should do their own homework. For those that are interested they can call Doug Martin at 1-888-736-9008, and have him send you a package....I'm recovering from by-pass surgery and have a lot of time on my hands...I invest for a living and am quite good at it. MILITARY APPLICATIONS ? Art, Let me raise a question for some ACTV food for thought, I don't believe anyone on this board has ever considered this concept..... We all know the diverse applications for the use of the push /pull technology and interactive uses for the ACTV technology as it applies to real world civilian Television broadcasts, Advertising, E-School education, etc., I wonder if there are areas in the world of Military and Strategic Defense industries that could benefit from ACTV's technology as well. Perhaps there are Digital, Interactive and Broadband applications yet unexplored in this arena. I.e.: Sea - Air combat theater's where mission critical digital communications are required using high bandwidth communications between submarines, AWAC radar aircraft, surface combat ships and land based troops. As technology advances in the world of commercial digital communications I can only presume that these technologies can and should be adopted by the Military. Who knows, maybe one day we will read a press release that looks like this: ACTV To Provide MILSTAR Digital Interactive Software solutions, NEW YORK, NY (April 01, 2002) – ACTV Inc., a unit of Liberty Media Inc. has received a U.S. Air Force contract valued at $18.9 million, for software sustainment and implementation of the Air Force MILSTAR digital interactive satellite communications terminal, associated systems and facilities. Food for thought………..
