QUESTION I WAS WONDERING AS WELL, and help would be appreciated. If I bought enough shares so I was up to 100, would I qualify for future IPO's which CMGI has a majority stakes in.

Any and all comments are appreciated.
Bretsky

Sorry, but only shareholders of record with 100 shares or more are eligible for the directed share program (DSP). You cannot "add shares" to make the 100 share limit after the fact.

This may seem unfair to you and I understand that emotion. However, there are many of us who are long-time CMGI investors and have seen our shares drop from $170 to $100 (a more than 30% decline). The DSP is CMGI's way of rewarding us for our committment to this fine company.

I sincerely hope that CMGI decides to do another DSP in the future to reward other, more recent shareholders. This builds team spirit and ensures no one will sell their shares without a darned good reason.

I am already $2800 richer as a result of CMGI and am not going to sell my shares in CMGI. I hope that you will be rewarded for your belief in this company.

The DSP is, as you say, a "private club". I am proud to be a member.

Jim (and Gizelle) --

I believe that the June 15 deadline for holding 100 shares was a requirement to qualify for the *ENGA* IPO. I don't believe that it was a requirement to particpate in *all* future IPOs. It would be very dumb if the June 15 deadline applies to all future IPOs -- what a dis-incentive for anyone to buy the stock, since they couldn't get in on any upcoming IPOs. I expect they'd announce another deadline to get in on, say, NaviSite. Think of it like a stock split or dividend.

This was my interpretation. Can anyone shed further light on that?
