Conflict is the essence of drama, and violence makes it broad and easy to follow. It is just about that simple. People rarely want to kill or maim, but they love watching good guys beat bad guys... ...I do not think that watching two women kiss will create a country of lesbians. I do think that it offended a number of groups on religious grounds, and that they have economic power.... ...I am not sure that I would disagree about the condoms versus the handguns, but it is not the job of the schools to distribute condoms over the express wishes of parents....
