JohnG, I dont look at QCOM chart before April 1999

never could figure what the "fundamental" reason why QCOM slipped from 117 to 91 in late May... what fundamentals deteriorated? oh yes, it was the Korean lost sales

the demand will come back, just not while summer vacation kicks in, and Nasdaq momentum is derailed also... big strong upleg from 91 to 158 was beautiful... now some people will take profits, some will go on vacation... others will re-evaluate the Q story and get convinced of its gorilla status... look for some sideways action for a little while... what the hell is the big deal? some sideways action, a downdraft in techs on a couple days

you guys will be scratching your head, and scratching your nuts figuring out why QCOM drifts, cannot sustain upmoves like today, maybe hits an airpocket... THIS IS A BRIEF CONSOLIDATION PHASE

said it before: fundamentals control the toss of the ball, technicals control the bounces... WE ARE BOUNCING NOW after getting the rug pulled out in a longterm very positive move to raise cash

<Q is all breaking news and positive surprises. This has damn little to do with some impossible line in Jan 1999.>

My Friend John,

not some rear view mirror TA analysis, imho
