It looks like my shorting strategy was the wrong call today. I actually held my three shorts through market close. Here's the score: CMGI: closed down 1.12 from where I shorted YHOO: closed up 3/4 from where I shorted AMZN: closed up 9 points from where I shorted (ouch!) - oh well made 17 points on this one yesterday, so I guess I'm still up 8. An AMZN rally on a Friday afternoon in July was the last thing I was expecting. I have to wonder if it wasn't just a lot of short covering - many of the other big nets were down today - AOL, EBAY and CMGI were all down, and YHOO was about even. I'm off for the weekend - good luck to all on Monday. -Eric
