I guess you misunderstood my original reference. I was simply trying to lay out some of what I believe to be the differences between liberals and conservatives. I took the position that most liberals support the one China policy, and most conservatives support Taiwanese independence. You're the one who brought business interests into it, which was irrelevant to the original point I was making.

So let's go back to basics. Forget businesses -- they have no ideologies.

Do you agree that in general (there are no absolutes in this business, of course) people who are generally regarded, by themselves or by others, as liberal support a one-China position and people who are generally regarded as conservative support Taiwanese independence?

Not that it really matters much, since that was just one data point of several in suggesting differences between liberals and conservatives. If you don't like that data point, let's toss it out and stick with more traditional ones, like view on abortion, prayer in school, degree of government control over land use decisions, welfare, etc.
