Bank One doesn't offer an OFX download option so I recently pulled up my roots and left them. They have the slowest server on the internet and I couldn't take it anymore. If Bank One doesn't have it I doubt Wingspan has any plans to do so.

Z: I suppose you have consulted the updated "Financial Institutions" list within Quicken??

can anyone confirm an online bank (Netbank, etc.) that has established the one-step download linkage into Quicken?

Zuma -- Netbank allows a free download into Quicken. It is not "automatic" as with the usual Quicken downloads, say with Chase, but you can manually hit a download key on the NTBK site and specify the dates you want downloaded. After they download, you import then into Quicken and can add the Quicken categories to them. Not quite as good as the "auto" Quicken download, but NTBK told me they will have that later this year. Anything is preferable to Chase.

I was ready to sign up with Wingspan until I learned that their protocol is QIF instead of OFX. Several on this thread have mentioned how QIF can screw up your Quicken check register.

Let's all exchange info to find the best deal on an internet bank. I can't live without online to Quicken. I am too much used to it. A couple of years ago I didn't think much of it. I think that is what is going to happen with EBPP, it takes time for people to get comfortable with new technologies and new ways of doing things.

Best to all,
