I hope he leaves soon. I also bought believing the company was really turning around. Sure am learning a lesson. No wonder suits against the managment are pending. Wish I could sue them (had the funds to sue them).

Complaining is encouraged... mr. mark said lest anyone think i'm complaining and that i hate the company, Those people who complain about complaining are now causing us to be apologetic when we do so. This is not right. We have an inept CEO and a clueless Board of Directors that don't give a hoot about shareholder value. We have every right to complain and insist they get their act together and sell the damn company to someone who does care about shareholder value and is capable of making good decisions. I've noticed recently that some of those people who complain about the complainers are now themselves complaining. I guess they lost the patience it takes to be a good investor. Tim

Don't recognize a lot of the new names here but if there are any old timers here you would recognize my name...! I have been in and out of 3com for 4 years....made a lot of money and lost a lot of money..I have a small number of shares now at around 26..3com does have a lot of potential and I don't disagree...however with the current senior management they are doomed. CEO and all senior VP staff should probably be fired within days. The time is running out. This whole notion of them turning the corner to be follwed by earnings warnings has repeated itself every two quarters for the past 3 years! And I am sure you are aware of all the class action law suites that have hit the company in the last few years. Its time to send emails and messages to the board members ...!
