When it comes to 3G Stuff and the licences held by Motorola,Nokia,Ericcson dose the IS95 contracts cover royalties and license fees for 3G or do they need to be licensed separate from IS95?

I am pretty sure that there will have to be a second round of deals to cover royalties for CDMA2000, unless the Q participates in one of the overall 3G royalty groups (i doubt it since these groups want to keep the total 3G royalties below 5%). I think that may be one of the reasons behind the recent lawsuit with MOT. It may give them some added leverage when it comes to licensing of 3G. Maybe MOT wont have such a sweetheart arrangement this time around.
