HEH heh HEH-- I a long as can be but like to hear both sides. DOOM and GLOOM is right in line with owning this stock. The value player are those that have owned the stock for a LONG time or VERY shoert time. Anyone with more than a few weeks and less than a few years does not see the value you speak of in the oerformance of this stock, company or mgmt YET... Time will tell but like many customers many investors will be leaving cpq..

I have never shorted a stock. Actually Harold i'm slightly interested in buying into CPQ because i don't see how they can go much lower. it seems to me that everytime this company hits 22 they rebound to at least 25 at some this point. riding this small wave seems like a good way to make a few bucks.

My comments are more directed towards claims that "everything is alright" here. Why would you prefer all the posters to be a bunch of cheerleaders? I would think that you would instead be screaming your head off with constructive criticism on what you feel is the best way to fix this box maker.

I actually find some enlightened ideas in CPQ- namely their proposal to adopt Firewire & to get off of the Intel bandwagon.

Anyway- i'll keep it down for awhile so that you don't feel like i'm attacking you personally.
