yup - as i understand it datek chose microslop/intel based technologies rather than something actual useable when applied to a real world application

some technology officer they have - bought the microsoft BS hook, line and sinker

amazing that they'd never heard of Sun and the solutions it had to offer ?

Forget about the technology problem. I don't care if they process my transactions by hand correctly and honestly. Does anyone know what the deal is with the criminal investigation? I'm thinking about leaving Datek. I don't want to wake up one morning and see my stocks are all stolen.
