To Don Hess:For those that have used both pcmcia and -- what is it called -- imagemate? Which is better? I truly enjoy using the SanDisk pcmcia adapter with my CF cards, but am I missing something? ImageMate is purely a device which greatly facilitates the reading/writing of the CF card. It is equivalent to the PCMCIA slot on a laptop, but only CF fits in it. If you use your laptop to download your cards you have already experienced the same exhilaration. It just beats the heck out of a serial connection. Having said that, as a SNDK shareholder you should own an ImageMate.Am I the only one who has thought of SanDisk as one of the few truly Y2K-proof technology stocks? Now, I am not talking here about reality, but of perception and panic. In reality, many of the issues that will be unduly penalized in the next few months shouldn't be. But with SNDK, there is not only no downside, but we sidle up to the millenium in the Xmas buying season. Read: digital cams, MP3 players, etc. If this stock isn't way over $100 by October 1, I will be shocked. And the better news is that it should stay there. Pre-January logic will do the heavy lifting, post January earnings will justify the push. I agree. We have two strong quarters coming up here, folks. After Q3 is announced and the logic for a gigantic Q4 is understood by the investment community at large we will be setting new highs. I think that $100.00 per share is not unreasonable, although I have become much less fixated on share price of late (since the Thread became "enjoyable" (read "profitable"). At this point I am more concerned with execution and brand recognition. Ausdauer
