Ed,
You are free to express your opinions and the rest of us are as
well. But to keep the integrity of this thread, please don't
misquote people on their previous posts. I have done quite OK
by selling 50% of my stake at MSFT at the right times. Buy and
hold of great companies is a great strategy. But one can do
better if can time well. Timing is hard, really hard.

Even though you fell way off your prediction of 100 (200 pre-split)
by early Feb 99, we did get there one day last week. About 6
months later. This is a no brainer. You pick any price, MSFT will
eventually be there. I also believe your prediction of 150 by
Jan2000 is way off the mark. 120 is more like it.

In the mean time, in the short term, i.e. next 60 days, I am
expecting 75- 85. When it gets there I will remember to send you
a post. But please don't misquote me 6 months down the road.
