i have just confirmed the following from a second very reliable source...

rambus will be in ibm desktops and workstations next month.

my source says ibm expects to have rambus in servers very very soon.

"They do NOT expect to ship consumer PCs using the memories in the next 12 months." RMBS is going to have a tough time making that 50% penetration next year at that rate.
