OK Neocon, but my point was intention. We have had articles in the San Mateo times about that gun shop, they do a brisk business (not to locals) and sell the majority of guns sold in this county according to what I have read. There is also a whole bunch of violence in that location. Big 5 sporting goods also sells guns because their chain sells guns so you can special order them, but in any case those are sportsmans' rifles I guess which are not usually seen in street violence.

When I say "it is the only gun shop in town", which I agree is a generalization and not completely correct, I should have said "it is the only meaningful gun shop that sells street-type weapons in volume that don't need to be special ordered".. but anyway I believe what I said to be true. I still think its true, btw. And I actually believe you may not have seen the countless rebuttals to that Chicago survey, but check it out there have been a lot... but anyway thats fine, opposing points of view are what makes a debate.

However, I don't believe for a second that Bill Vaughn really thinks he can drive to San Rafael in an hour, or that he never even made the connection that football salary caps have been violated by owners when we he assumed we were discussing baseball, or that nobody here recognized those Quayle quotes misappropriated to Gore.

BTW those commute times listed in yahoo are obviously traffic-free... not the reality.

The commute time depends on when one makes the drive and under what conditions. Early morning with the fog rolling in would tend to lengthen things. Mid-day or on weekends would probably be fastest.
