Wrong again. These sites (Yahoo, Mapquest, etc.) tend to be very conservative and accurate in the time estimates. Mapquest estimates the San Mateo/San Rafael drive time as 57 mins. Comparing that to the estimate for the drive from downtown Boston to my office which is one hour and four minutes, and to several other drives I have to make during traffic hours to various points, the variance from the actual times I have sat in the car is either miniscule or non-existent. The simple explanation is you were wrong about the salary cap, wrong about the drive time and wrong about the number of gun dealers in your area. You shot off your big mouth without any facts to back you up as usual. The even simpler explanation is that given your overblown ego and sense of self importance you can not bear to admit you were wrong. Get over it and move on. JLA

I can get to downtown Washington in an hour in moderate traffic, and to Reagan National Airport, which is on the other side of the city in Alexandria, in 45 minutes in mid- afternoon, before rush hour. I can get from Brookline to the Boston Park Plaza in less than a half an hour in moderate traffic, and from Columbia University, about 116th St., to Chinatown, almost at the end of Manhattan, in about a half an hour in moderate traffic. I have driven from mid- town San Francisco over to Sausilito in about a half- hour. Thus, I am not sure that it is obvious that Yahoo must be wrong. I only pursue it for Bill's sake, at this point, since he was jumping in to back me up in the first place...Anyway, here are the directions according to Yahoo, with a link to maps:
